Memories are pristine and immortal, until you recall them. The more you recall, the more decay occurs.

You know this. You desperately try to remember the details of a dream on waking up, but only remember the emotion it leaves you with.

This is what happens to memories, and is what this album captures. Best experienced in alternating states of mind.

A lot of music-makers have used markers that traditionally define a genre. This is an eventuality. We consciously step away from markers that are traditionally associated with this genre, or with music in general. Everything is deterritorialized. The decay in the music becomes a gateway.

The name for this album didn't emerge in a brainstorming session. We merely put into words the music we made; a full-bodied extension of ourselves and our experiences.
